#next time you hate on elena remember that this is the girl who saved damon from lexi’s boyfriend before they even became real friends #remember she is the one who hugged and tried to comfort him because he has lost katherine once again #think about that time she saved him even though he killed her brother the day before #remember how worried she always is and how she cried for him when he was about to die. #don’t ever forget that she sees the real damon - the caring person he wants to hide from everyone else #and that she never loses hope in him and always forgives him no matter how bad his actions were #but the most important thing you should remember is that he loves her because she is the only person who can truly make him happy
